"I hired Fitchet to clean and service my tankless water heater. The guy who came out showed up 2 hours early, without a ladder. Complained that his truck was in the shop. My tank is in the attic. He acted like he didn't want to do the job. I told him I had a ladder he could use so he agreed. I told him how my water heater would turn from hot to cold while running and would run cold for a long period of time then back to hot. Apparently, he didn't have the equipment to check that out because he didn't. He sat in his truck while something was going on in the attic with the water heater. As he was leaving he said I should see a big improvement and if I didn't it could only be one thing. I ask about the cost of a service call to change that part and he said another $225.00. I guess the part would be a separate cost. I was so disappointed in Fitchet. I always thought they were the premier tankless water heater company in the Hampton Roads area. I still have the problem and it's getting worse. Now it can take 4 minutes or longer for hot water to reach the bathroom upstairs right below the tankless water heater. I wish I had never gotten a tankless water heater! "

"I needed a repair to one of the gas fireplace in my home. Now as a businessman I know that service isn't the profit maker sales are so my expectations were not high. I was wrong. With supply chain issues getting the parts from "not here" they stuck with the follow up and kept me in the loop. (Samantha should get 10 stars) The work was excellent and no additional cost was incurred by the several trips that were required. Well done. "

"Don’t try calling this company for service over the weekend. They will not come out, will not honor their service program, will not even call you back. Stay away and find another company. "

"They worked well to get three units installed for us, replacing tank hot water tank type heaters. They put in lp 160 all around and they have worked well for over a year now. That said service or contact after the installation is non existing. Had to go elsewhere for service and a service kit."

"This was my first service call. I had experienced my tankless water heater not giving hot water and beeping with code 11. When I called in to schedule my service call, the operator was very friendly and I received a prompt appointment. Mr. Fitch came out and was very friendly and explained the process which further confirmed I was in good hands. He got my water heater performing at its best. I was very pleased and will be recommending Fitch Specialties to everyone in our neighborhood since we all have tankless water heaters."
